The Romany Surf Kayak (NDK Romany Surf Kayak)—formerly known as the Poseidon—is designed as a day, play, and short-trip sea kayak for larger paddlers who want classic Romany performance with added volume and stability. This Romany Surf Kayak features the widest keyhole cockpit of any British-made fiberglass sea kayak, along with increased rear volume to support extra paddler weight and gear.

The Romany Surf Kayak offers higher initial stability than the standard Romany, and its flatter hull design makes it especially strong in surf conditions. It delivers excellent support and control, while the shaped foredeck allows for larger foot size comfort.

At Kayak Waveology, we focus on performance sea kayaking and surf handling in long boats. Whether you’re running a shoreline break or paddling in tide races, the Romany Surf Kayak performs exceptionally well in rough water. It is also a fast, responsive, and highly capable coaching kayak.
