All sessions are tailored to your goals, location, and skill level – whether you’re learning essential sea kayaking skills, developing advanced rough-water ability, or planning a full expedition.

Our kayak lessons are focused on real-world skill development in dynamic environments, not just basic paddling instruction.

We specialize in:

Kayaking Guide Services (Expeditions & Adventures)

We provide professional kayaking guide services for bespoke expeditions and advanced sea kayaking trips.

As your kayaking guide, we:

• Match routes and conditions to your skill level
• Plan and lead safe, progressive sea kayak expeditions
• Provide real-time decision-making in changing conditions
• Support group cohesion, safety, and expedition flow
• Deliver custom adventures in coastal and open-water environments worldwide

Our guiding focuses on meaningful expedition experiences, not standard tourist kayaking trips.

Accredited Training & Professional Standards

We are an approved Paddle UK / British Canoeing Delivery Centre and SKUK International Expedition Centre.

This ensures our kayak lessons and kayaking guide services align with recognized international standards in:

• Sea kayak leadership and safety
• Coaching and instructional development
• Expedition planning and risk management
• Structured training and assessment pathways

2026 Rates

• Private Kayak Lessons / Guide (8-hour full day): $500
• Non–Paddle UK Courses: $150 per person per day
• Paddle UK / British Canoeing Courses: $170 per person per day + processing fees
• Rough Water Kayaking Guide Expeditions:
  • Lead guide: $500 per day
  • Second guide: $300 per day (depending on group size and conditions)

Booking & Payment

Course dates are listed on the calendar. A PayPal payment option is available for convenience.

We typically do not cancel due to conditions—instead, we adjust locations to match safety and skill requirements.

If you cancel a prepaid booking, you may reschedule for another date within the same season.

We also offer an honor-based payment option for select kayak lessons, where payment is made upon attendance as a commitment to learning and participation.

Bespoke Kayak Expedition Guiding, Coaching and Planning is available upon request for anywhere in the world, rates are a function of the desired location. Please contact to work out a plan. coach@kayakwaveology.com.
