Woods Hole, just a lovely place to paddle in some serious moving water.
The Elisabeth Islands form a dam where the waters of Bussard’s Bay flood into Vineyard Sound and equally the same on the ebb. The water movement flows fast through the “Holes” on this island chain and Woods Hole and areas around have some proper flows to challenge any intermediate to advanced paddler. Tidal rapids, Tide races and Over Falls are all features we will be working in, and coaching you how to best advanced your skills in these environments.
Each morning we meet up in Woods Hole proper for a coffee and discuss, review, and reflect on our plans for each day. To make sure you are getting the most out of your time working in this super fun environment. The are a bunch of local lodging options close by as well.
