For all that had visited us on the water Coaching or at the Back Woods Boat shop for new NDK boats.  We are very grateful for your patronaged and friendship during a crazy pandemic year. 

This year proved that the best place was to be out on the water enjoying what Neptune decided to whip up.  From refining your maneuvers, learning to surf better in shore break and tidal races, British Canoeing personal performance awards, British Canoeing Moderate water leadership trainings, a local way Down East Maine – Canadian border week long expedition to work on British Canoeing guide modules, Plum Gut and Woods Hole tidal race advanced courses, to wrapping it all up with 12th Autumn Gales meet.  Few!! We did a lot.

We plan to do more of the same in 2021.  With the addition of now running the British Canoeing Advance Sea Kayak Leader programs and the Advanced Personal Performance awards.  Also hosting an ACA L5 Instructor training and assessment.  British Canoeing Core Coach Training and Discipline Specific Moderate water Coach award.

With the on set of Covid 19 vaccines in the near future we also hope to resume our International paddling expedition trips.  We have postponed our 2020 trips to related weeks in 2021.  So that’s North Ireland late July and Iceland late August 2021.

During the  months of January – March we hope to enjoy our Telemark skiing antics in the Northern New England mountains.  All the while working on our planning of events for the 2021 season.  We are always open to develop bespoke paddling weekends and weeks for  your group of friends, schools, clubs and International adventures.  So feel free to reach out and tell us what you want more of.
