100% dry map case to stow on the exposed deck of a sea kayak and withstand being hammered by waves and the elements. A simple and ingenious design and are still made by the hands of Axels Schoevers.  To seal the case simply slide the plastic sheathe in the slits in the small pvc tube, then roll up.  Clips onto deck lines using the provided clips.
