The British Canoeing Core Coach Training is the first step in the British Canoeing Coach Award process. The content for the Coach Award is delivered through Core Coach Training and Discipline Specific Training in one of twenty-two paddle sport disciplines. The two day Core Coach Training is open to all paddlers regardless your discipline or previous coaching experience.
Core Coach Training is not discipline specific, rather it focuses on the coaching process by exploring evidence based approaches to coaching and how learners learn. In addition, the training will support and reinforce foundational coaching skills and provide you with a personal coaching development plan.
Core Coach Training Prerequisites:
- Full Home Nation Association Membership
Providers are Greg Paquin and visiting coach Todd Write.
